To protect the public and advance the education of professional pool/spa operators, the NSPF has initiated a new program with the CPO handbook. The handbook has been entirely rewritten to include the most current information available. It has received extensive expert review. It will be updated yearly to keep the material current. Unlike any other operator training program, the CPO handbook is published in color to help the instructors teach and the students learn. Training provided by instructors help protect millions of swimmers by reducing hazards at aquatic facilities.
Please note that since the CPO Handbook has been completely revised, the NSPF will no longer be offering “recertification” (reduced length) courses or challenge exams for CPO certification. All students, regardless of their previous certification, will be required to complete the entire 14-16 hour course.
